The sun came up, but I couldn't tell.
The windows are blocked with sheets; The daylight means another day without
your presence; I'd rather stay sleeping, dreaming of the day when it's only
going to be us, together.
I layed in bed for a couple extra hours this morning, thinking of you.
Time has its ways; The morning spills out a new story, and the blackness of
night ends the chapter.
I wonder what you're doing on days like this; Days that are so cold and you
have no one to hold you and keep you warm.
Days like this, I sit wrapped in a blanket, writing down random thoughts of
you; Spilling out things I didn't know I could say.
I have so much to say, but my words can't compare to the way you make me
feel.
I have so much to give, but I can't give it to you.
You're so far, but your voice is so near; Phone calls until 2am, and your
sweet words always get the best of me.
Your IM's leave me wishing you were here, laying with me, wrapped in each
others arms until we fall asleep.
