So why did i do it, you ask me now?
It was my solution to bring relief
Everything Iv done, you said you wouldnt allow
And your ice cold stares left me in disbelief

Tonight i breathe in the mist
This night i lose all sense of fear
Ill burn these memories till they no longer exist
You know, iv given up on waiting for you here

The air is cold i can see my own breath
And still the heat of this fire grows
At first, leaving you was like living my own death
But now the strength inside me glows

I never thought id see the day
When our names are not enclosed by a heart
When i can finally say leave and be on your way
Its time for me to turn my back , im taking a walk,
To a place where i can begin again at the start
