He walked into her room in the middle of the night,
standing over her he watched her sleep
she awoke screaming with fright
he took her hand for his to keep
she laughed, he smiled
they looked at eachother deeply in one anothers eyes
and it stayed that way for quite a while
then the day came and he said good bye
she understood why
before he left they said there vows and gave her a kiss
she wanted to cry
because what he did was bliss
he never again seen her
when he left
they will always be friends
but all the moments they had he kept
they grew old
he died alone
she thought about him every now and then
and when she died they met in heaven
for eternity they were together
and nothing seemed better
