How many moms do you know that their daughter considers them a best friend?
How many moms do you know that any heart they can mend?
Mine,
thats the only one,
you wont know another,
I already have the best mother,
hour long conversations,
Talking about what might happen and whishin for vacations,
Been with her longer than anyone,
i couldnt of had more fun,
Livin off her good looks,
Dad always stabbing us in the back like hooks,
But we made it,
With nuthin in our pockets but lint and an occational furry mint,
Driving and listening to our old day songs,
Not knowing our rights from wrongs,
Living at Dennys,
Being tossed from place to place like rusty pennys,
Finally mom found herself a man,
The best thing that happened to us,
Dan,
Heres the begining moms now got twin boys,
Duplex flooding with toys,
Way ta go Dan,
Obviously hes not a Trojan man,
Wedding bells are ringing as he puts the ring on her finger,
Right in front of the preacher,
We have a family now, mom and I,
We're best friends and come as one if you chose one, the other you cant
deny,
Its been a 15 year long friendship,
Sometimes bumpy from an attitude slip,
Started off as a pair,
Now we're a family of five and no other can compare,
We made it so far,
Now im about to get a car,
i dont know that i will be able to leave,
We've been through more together then you will ever believe,
For this girl I will never run out of love,
And im so glad that she was the one chosen to be my mom by the man above.
