Every night she looks to the sky
As she thinks to herself and wonders why
Why is this world so cruel and mean
Especially when your thirteen

Everyone everywhere is putting her down
All she wants to do is leave this town
And run away from her anger, run away from her pain
Its building up inside her, and driving her insane

Its like she hears voices at night
Telling her whats wrong wrong from right
Adving her not to cut, but to eat
But if she listens, emotionally she'll be beat

Cutting makes her feel good
And she would never eat again, if she could
The feeling of starvation is so nice
Along with each and every slice
