Fall

Raindrop, fall from the sky.
Fall like a tear would fall from an eye.
And show me my chance.
To live my life full of true romance.
As we dance.

Raindrop, fall down on a rose.
Fall like sleep does on someone who’s overdosed.
And show me life.
Something full of emotion and full of strife.
And a knife.

Raindrop, fall upon skin.
Fall like a knife to show what’s within.
And bring me joy.
An emotion brought on by a shiny new toy.
Or a boy.

Raindrop, fall upon me.
Fall like a burden only the burdened can see.
And bring me pain.
To show others that this is more then a game.
And no one’s sane.

Raindrop, fall down on us.
Show us the meaning of everyone’s trust.
And tell me regret.
Of something I said to cause someone fret.
Which I don’t get.

Raindrop, fall across my eye.
Fall and let the world know this little girl cries.
And release the lies
Of the girl who tried to be buried alive
While dead inside.
