It just..happened,
Out of the blue..
"I hate you!!"
"Well I hate you too!"
At a wedding reception,
For your best friend..
You stood up and slapped me,
I was waiting for the end!
But I got angry..
It was just like some dream...
I was hoping you were doing this,
Because I'm pretty when I scream.
But I know it was no joke,
Not one bit a lie,
So you took your jacket,
And left me, to cry...
Your sister walked up,
Just staring at me..
Others walked up,
She said "Just leave her be."
They all walked away,
I grabbed my things.
I looked at my shaking hand,
On my fingers, the rings...
You had just bought me one,
But I didn't care...
I threw them all away...
Said a silent prayer.
Whatever went wrong,
Who knows who's wrong or right..
I'll spend my life wondering...
What caused such a good fight?
