a solitary leaf
fluttering
in the wind

a lonely lioness
prowling
the vast landscape

a dust-covered book
unopened
in the dark corner of the library

a flightless bird
trapped
in a tiny wire cage

a desolate dewdrop
clinging
on the tip of a blade of grass



Exactly who am I?



i am
but a single soul
drifting
wandering
desperately in the darkness
just searching
