People always tell me things will change

That nothing will ever stay the same

But what would happen if nothing changed

If all the things stayed the same

And we all always felt the same

We cried the same tears day after day

Hated the same person

Always in the same way

Never felt different

And always went in the same fashion and way as before

But what would happen to the world if we all stayed the same?

Who would die

And who would stay

Living and feeling the death and the pain

Never changing

And always feeling the same

What would happen

Because no one would know

The pain and tears you feel are cold

If no one knew to stop your doing

That the knife never looked so good

What’s the point of staying if you always feel the same?

Never happy nor sad

Always plain

Never feeling and thinking

Saying the same things

No way to stop what happened the day before

Cause it would all go the same way

And nothing would change

Cause nothing can change

Cause no one was there to see you fall

And not get up again

Living the pain day after day

Crying in the exact same way

If only they knew the pain you felt

Than maybe someone would help you
