So much for friends

Its pouring outside, like inside my soul
i told u everything there is to be told

I opened my heart and let you in
you felt me up and down and grinned

you knew u were in and now had control
you knew you had a good hold

you played with me for a couple years
told me you loved me and dryed my tears

you said you were there for me till the end
you told others i was ur best friend

'Id fight for her, lie for her, even die for her" thats what u said
someone ran to me and planted that in my head

i remember fighting for that one awful night
and remembering saying i hated u with all my might

then i remembered what you said
u loved me, so i cried upon my bed

i said i was sorry and never meant to
you said u were sorry too

everything was fine, we were best friends
then u just up and left, thats it, thats all, the end

i stared at my wall and cried out in pain
i gave u my heart and u ran away

you stopped by one day to get ur stuff
i asked u to come in and u said sry lifes ruff

ive got better things to do
then to spend my day here with you

and with that you walked out of my life
and to this day i cant think of u w/o strife

but i always remember what you said
"we're best friends, best friends till the end"
