people see the sparkle in her eyes
the smile on her face is her disguise
she is really in love with someone
her family won't accept this one

she's scared to say a word
she wants to fly just like a bird
sometimes she tastes her tears on her lips
while she imagines the one she loves holding her hips
she sometimes wonders if it's even right

to love the one that looks like her in the light
she can't help the feelings inside
she barely says anything, she'll just hide
she's confussed about everything now
she only wants to know how

she wants to hold hands with the one she loves in the hall
she wants the one she loves to catch her when she will fall
some people don't accept it, some people don't care
some people will pretend that they aren't even there

she wants people to accept how they are
she doesn't want to be treated like she's below the bar
she doesn't want people to remember this as a blurr
but that no matter what people said, she's in love with her
