I gaze into your eyes,
The eyes that once gazed back.
I look and remember a beautiful dream,
But I see ahead a heartbreaking nightmare.

My hand drawn to yours,
But as we touch you disappear,
Fade away into the night,
Getting further and further from my arms.

I reach out for you one last time,
As I run through the cold,
I cannot see as my eyes weep for you,
The tears as they fall, transformed to ice.

I fall to my knees, look up to the sky,
My last chance has gone,
The tears still running down my face,
Your name the wind blows from my life.

The ground I feel leave from beneath,
Falling and falling, never to stop,
For ever more my heart shall be out there,
Bleeding for you in this whirlpool of ice.
