he left me nearly a month ago
left me sitting all alone
by myself i cried
hoping every ring i heard was him on the phone
days go by
i hear he's with his ex girlfriend
makes me wonder if i was a lie
makes me think its really the end
i start to think of him less and less
then one last time the phone rings
my heart skips its last beat of hope
and i hear his voice, hope's what he brings
says he got money
so that me and him can runaway
says hes gonna leave his girlfriend
and with me hes gonna stay
for some reason i dont believe him
because i dont know his lies from whats true
i really love him with all my heart
so i dont know what to do
should i stay home
or should i go with him again
should i leave my life behind
and go to a place i feel is heaven?
