Today she ran away
She will never return
She sits on a bench overlooking a river
Tears stream down her cheeks as she remembers her family's words
She lays down and looks at the sky full of stars
She fell asleep by the lake
She realizes when she wakes up her family never bothered to look for her
She sits up and more tears fall from her eyes
This girl just wanted to be loved
But that she never got
She slowly takes the razor blade out of her pocket and slits her wrists
She watched as the deep red blood drips down her arm
For once she is smiling
She dives into the lake
A few years later the lake dried up
They found her body
Her parents cried sorrowful tears wishing she would come back
But it's way too late
As she looked down from heaven she smiled
For she knows they are sorry and that finally she is free..
