We ran through distant lands, never apart.
We slept under the stars, just to feel like no one else could be on this
planet but us.
We were always arm in arm,
Never letting go.
We said that we wouldn't let anyone seperate us,
But we were lieing, we knew it was only a matter of time.
So we held onto each other for as long as we could,
Under a ceiling of stars,
Locked in what we wished could be an eternal embrace.
The day they took him away from me, I lost my reason to live.
I walked through the woods and meadows, places where we used to go.
I lay down in the creek, that you and I loved the most,
Hoping to just float away.
I pushed myself under the water, holding my breath,
Wishing to lose it if you can't come back to me.
My tears floated off downstream,
As I began to slowly fade.
I know that when you come back,
You'll know where to find me.
You'll find me as I am now, blue and cold.
You'll try to bring me back,
But you won't prevail.
I'm lost to you forever,
Because you left me in this place.
I've searched for you all over,
But you were hiding from me.
So I hope you are happy now, when you see what you have done.
So say good bye to me one last time,
To your Ice Queen.
You will splash hot tears on my face,
Hoping they will warm me,
Hoping they will melt the ice around my heart.
But you cannot wake me,
And I will always stay frozen.
I will forever be,
Your Ice Queen.
