we were together for a year
to me thats long
so now being without you
it feels so wrong.
We broke up for a stupid reason
I cry at the thought
i coulden't believe
all the lies you had bought.
Time went by
and i gave up hope
i tried to move on
and i tried to cope.
But as time kept passing
the feelings got stronger
then i knew i coulden't keep
these emotions inside any longer.
My friend asked you to call me
and i was hoping you would
so when your call came through
i felt so good.
I got the courage to tell you
and i poured my heart out
to hear you still loved me
spreaded joy all about.
So now were setting a date
to see each other in a little bit
but its taking so long
and the spark in my heart has been lit.
I remember old dates
like at the beach sitting in the sand
right down to the time
you put the ring on my hand.
How could i forget
such wonderful times?
not making new ones
feels like making a crime!
I want you to know i love you a lot
i know i'm young, so sorry to rush
but i want us to marry and grow old
and thats somthing i wont hush.
So give me an answer
and life will be told
let our lives be one
with the love that we hold.
