My soul gone from my body,
Can’t take the pain anymore,
The suffering has been too much,
For my spirit’s now with the chill of the night.

This empty shell which once was full,
Destroyed,
Emptied by you,
Why did you have to leave?

Just left without saying goodbye,
Left on my own, to do nothing but miss you,
As you walk away and take my life,
I fall from your arms and disappear.

You promised me you’d never go,
Said you’d always be there,
I believed you, trusted you with my life,
Yet you insisted on leaving with my heart.

Trust you I cannot,
How can I trust anyone now?
No more I can love,
Frightened of being hurt again.

The pain of loosing you,
Is just too much for me to take,
I sit alone and cry,
As I watch you leave as silent as our love came.
