i dont know if this really is a 'poem' persay but ill give it a shot...

i raise the sword
glittering in the sunset
a pink sunset, hungry for blood
the thirst seemingly unquenchable
why must i do this
why must they call upon me

there must be other souls
born without gulit
there must be people willing
willing to kill
the last soldier standing
the last soldier fighting
for a cause whitch he didnt know

he was fighting
and i was fighting
against each other
i dont know him
he dosent know me
is this what our world has come to
merciless killing
at the snap of the king

'what are you fighting for?'
i asked the soldier
he spoke in a foregin language
i knew he was innocent
anyone could
so i replyed 'me too'
