Night and Day

You and me are different,
So different it’s like night and day,
White and black,
Fire and ice.
We would never work,
But you wont give up.
You say, “Just try, give us a chance”.
I cant we are so different,
I am full of fear,
And you are so sure of yourself.
Night and day you always ask,
I reply “NO”.
Until one day you didn’t ask,
It made me wonder, so I ask you.
You say, “You finally came around”,
I reply with “Yes”.
We might be as different as night and day,
But without the night and day,
There wouldn’t have been a tomorrow.
