The naïve eye

We were sitting in the garden
My heart was filled with love.
My eyes were filled with beauty.
I enjoyed every second,
Every minute.
Because I was with You.
You charmed me
I loved you
Wanted to give you more.
I gave you more
I gave myself.
Every inch of me
Belonged to you.
I found out
You were sitting in other gardens too.
Others giving you themselves.
My heart was filled with sorrows
My eyes were filled with emptiness
I hated every second,
Every minute
I had spent with you.
You charmed me
I loved you
Wanted to give you more
I gave you more
I gave myself
Every inch of me
Belonged to you.
Didn’t that mean anything?
