You’re too beautiful to hide,
But still you turn away from what’s inside
You smile for the world to see,
Pretending it comes naturally
You might fool yourself, but you’re not fooling me.

Maybe no one understands,
But if you don’t let them, no one can.
Open your eyes and let them see
How wonderful your heart could be.

Don’t be afraid to show what’s real,
What you think and how you feel
You’re not perfect, but you’ll find it’s true:
The rest of us are no better than you.

Sometimes life will get you down,
But you’re never alone if you feel rundown
Keep your head up and you won’t have to frown.
You’ll always be beautiful--
Don’t let them say that you’re not wonderful.
