The sweet essence of your heart always loving mine
Is simply a shadow in the past and was completely divine
Your soft caressing lips were massages of lust
The moments we shared are now shattered into dust
The soothing whisper of your voice when I needed you the most
Is now an echo in my head you're eternally a ghost
If only I could hold you close and kiss your lips once again
The pain was too much my life had to end
As I took my last breath I looked up into the sky
The stars were dimming and I asked myself why
I ran out of the room and found a flight of stairs
To fall down them as if anyone cares
Instead I ran to the roof and walked to the edge
I screamed hoping you'd somehow get my message
My eyes filled with tears as I looked down below
Today was our wedding day so now everyone must know
I ripped off my dress and threw down my veil
My tears rinsed the blood as my skin grew pale
My heart stops
I look and listen to the sound of your voice and the stars glisten.
