the last hand

An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth,

nothing to win, yet nothing to lose

One man seeks vengeance, his past dies hard

His time is up, no wild card

No second chances, no new life,

He waits and he fears for a sign of death's scythe

No second chance, the dealing is done

he can only pray, this hand he has won,

No such luck, his fate is sealed

He just can't handle the hand he was dealt,

Just can't handle this pain that he felt

In his last instant he wishes to fold,

but it is too late

the trigger is pulled
