god help me fall asleep at night,
to try to forget the day
god help me fall asleep at night,
to chase me worries away.

ease my pounding heart,
and let the blood rush to my head.
help me forget the stress
to help me go to bed.

my bed no longer comfortable
my pillow is becoming flat
if i could only lie on a cloud
to only heavenly relax

i close my eyes
and i try hard to adrift,
but when i let my self off gaurd
my eyelids lift

why i have this anxiety
i have not the slightest clue
all i want is rest
and there is nothing hypnosis can do
