A picture of a little boy
His eyes scribbled out in pen
This is how he saw himself
Day to day
His father owned a business
But someone stole it from him soon
A man named Martin did it
So this one day
His father went
Into his study and never came out
All that was left
Was a wedding ring, a watch and
A bloody pocket knife
His life was torn
With his father's death
He was left to take care
Of his sick mother
One day when he got older
She told him there were rats
In the basement
So he checked it out
And rats it seemed
So he tried to get rid of them
And he heard yelps of pain
In the basement
So, being a good person,
He went down to check
A little white rat was stuck on the paper
So not being able to kill it
He figured out how to get him off
That killer sticky paper
After he managed to get him unstuck
He washed the rat and combed him too
And he named him, the rat being his only friend
The rat's name is now Socrates
Because of how smart the rat is
He brought him up to bed
Socrates and himself
Laying down and staring at the rat
He promised he won't ever let anyone harm him
He met another rat
And he named it Ben
For this rat was fat
And just plain evil, he finds out
He goes to work everyday
Late at the same time
Mr. Martin screams at him
Because he's late again
He looks down at his work
Trying not to look up
One day he brought Socrates and Ben to work
Leaving him in storage, it's the best place to be safe
One lady found him
And screamed and called Martin
Mr. Martin grabbed a pole
And stabbed poor Socrates to his death
He offered to clean it up
Since he doesnt want to throw Socrates away
So he keeps repeating
'What do I do, what do I do'
Then finally he turns to Ben
And says
'What can we do'
Since Socrates's death
He turned evil
He knows what to do
He grabs all the rats
And brings them to work
Knowing Mr. Martin will be there
He comes up the elavator
Rats surrounding him from all around
The rats go into Martin's office
After a while Martin sees
And the first thing he said was
'Holy shit...all the rats'
And then he appeared
A evil smile on his face
And he answered
Evily, yet calm and he stated
'Yes,
Look at the rats...'
