I say that I hate you,
But inside I really do love you.
I say a lot of bad things about you,
But I never really mean them.
You hurt me once by breaking my heart,
And I'm afraid if I give you my hurt again,
You'll just break it again.
I hear so much shit about what you say about me,
I want to call you and see if its true or not,
But I'm too afraid to pick up the phone to ask.
Will things between us ever be the same?
I want to feel your lips on my lips.
I want to feel your arms around me to make me feel safe again.
Will I ever feel this way again?
I only get this feeling when I'm with you.
The feeling of happiness, sadness, and laughter.
But most of all the feeling of love.
