A friend is a true friend,
When I can depend,
On her to understand,
The problems I have on hand.

Friendship is a treasure,
And when valued has no measure,
Always having fun together,
In all kinds of weather.

You feel I have let you down,
Since we have not talked I frown,
Its all not my blame,
Why should I bear your shame?

We've know each other for so long,
to spoil this would be so wrong,
So forgive me,
And friends we will always be.
