Half empty smile

look at that girl,
with the tear stained cheeks,
and the half empty smile,
look at how she acts,
she cries herself to sleep,
wanting to never awake,
her world of darkness,
that can only grow darker,
tears roll down,
her pale cheeks,
and she just lets them fall,
she falls over on her bed,
tears falling side ways,
smiling to keep the tears away,
rethinking life,
rethinking choices, her friends,
the tears stop, and she smiles,
a half empty smile,
she realises its not like that,
if its not supposed to be this way,
then she was just a waste of time,
she'll exit this room,
with her half empty smile,
and move things onward,
still with tear stained cheeks,
leaving a trail of betrayal and lies,
leading to a half empty smile..
