Jump For Freedom

A middle aged cop sits at the table
Of a coffee shop with his mates
A little past three, they got a call
Near the bridge of the city
So they hopped in their cars
And took that drive
That would change the cop forever
When he got there
He saw the girl on the bridge
His face went flushed.
The girl was threatning to jump
They trained him to get her down
With all the positive things
He was supposed to tell her
She asked that question
Of why should she live
He hesitated, wondering the answers
He could give her
His face fell, and his head went too
As he witnessed her
Spread open her arms like wings
And leaped toward freedom

*Author's Note: Well i don't know about this one, it has been
stuck in my head for like three days...and i finally wrote it..
