Summer Showers

Showers of love that fall from your soul,
Is just enough to drown any girl in happiness.
Only the sight of you will take control,
And never ever let go no matter how much they try.
You comfort my fear like a warm fleece blanket,
And shield my heart from a world of monstrosity.
Our love is so strong, no one can rank it,
And yet simplicity bears itself in every action.
You know just how to make my heart soar,
Only a simple rose is enough to make me speechless.
And yet the passion you give is worth so much more.
Lunch for two, prepared by you will lighten my day.
Countless hours in the park by your house,
Spent playing baseball, running or gazing,
Reminds me whether it two people or a mouse,
Love is an ocean: no boundaries and untamable.
But only one man has access to this beach,
And it will always be reserved for him,
For he has gone further than any man can reach,
And for that I love you till the ocean runs dry.
