I know it may sound out of line and quite absurd
But when I dont listen to anyone else..its you i always heard

We see through the same eyes
I know the feeling all too well
when we get hurt
we both feel the harsh sting and the morbid swell

when your dad hits
and my mom screams
i just look into your eyes
and feel the special gleam

when the ones we love
are selfish and cruel
Ill be the one holding on to you
catching your every fall
making sure your tears dont touch the floor

when i wanna disappear from this oh so harsh world
you make me see the light
shining through you

i dont know where id be
without the extra shove you give
or those little words that mean so much and make me want to live

your my guardian angel
your such a huge part of me
your own special place in my heart

ill be the light
when everything else is dark
ill be the hand
that picks you off the ground
Ill be the friend that makes you smile when he makes you frown

i can call you crying
you wont think me stupid
you've been there before
and know what to say
about all the stupid males
and the games that they play

we share the same scars
and cry the same tears
you get me through the day
with no fears

you give me the shoulder
to cry my eyes out on
you give me the lap to lay my head upon

i never thought i would find a friendship so true
nothing is more beautiful than the one i share with you!
