SERENDIPITY

An early snowstorm in September
Very vividly I remember
My aunt Sarah, my cousin Rose, me
And a little lost rabbit - Serendipity
Black and fluffy, warm and soft
My snuggle-bug lonely, lost
Cuddling inside my jacket
Told my dad I found a rabbit
Luckily my mom was out,
Instinct said she'd scream and shout
When she saw him, she loved him too
He was smaller than my little shoe
Solid black with one white paw
Cutest thing I ever saw
I loved him and he loved me
My bunny - Serendipity
