A Fading Friendship

You once were my best friend
But now it is fading.
You became someone else that I never knew you could be,
With you new friends, you are leaving me,
With your new life, you are leaving me.
Sometimes I feel sorry for even being your friend,
But I know it was worth it,
All the fun we had,
All the jokes about each other,
All of the sleepovers,
There is no deleting it from our life,
Everything that we did will never go away.
I can’t seem to forget the time I encouraged you to do something,
And that you did, and you were awesome,
But that is what changed you,
Your friends,
Your life.
You used to help me through the bad times,
But now you don’t seem to care.
You used to help get rid of roomers,
But now you are making the roomers.
I can’t believe this is happening,
We used to be the best of friends,
Loving each other, helping each other
But now we are,
Hating each other, despising each other.
