She wanders the land in cold abyss
Looking for a warrior to save her soul
Everyone and everything always seems so pointless
Why not die?
Why bother to cry?
Life is just one breath after the next
One step always following another
Always leading to more problems then we were made to handle

Everything is such a waste of time
If I died right now would it matter?
Would it affect the future?
Or would we still in the end become engulfed in flames?

I’ve wasted so many tears on things that mattered
Now realizing it didn’t matter at all

People are dying
Children are crying
All this to make PEACE

A war in which hundreds of people are killed
Where blood is shed
Blood of the enemy and blood of our own
War does not determine who is right
War determines who is left…

And yet we continue to slay off our own race
To massacre the very animals that let us live for millions of years
We don’t need weapons of mass destruction to obliterate the world
For WE are those very weapons

Humans will eradicate this world on their own
No need for science to look so far into the future
Until the sun swallows the Earth

We’re wearing away our atmosphere
As we speak intoxicating fumes eat at our protection
As I sit in the corner, silenced because I’m young
Our world is dying

So does it really matter what we think?
One person can’t change the world
Not anymore
One person who thinks differently is pushed aside
Outcast although they know what could save us all

In this world the different don’t matter
The Rich
The Same
The Beautiful
It’s their word that counts
Although most are oblivious to reality
Because they live in there own little world
Becoming blinded from the truth that everyone else must live.

Those who can foresee what is to become of us
Can’t do anything to change it
It will all end up dead in the end
So why do we bother?

Bother to cry
To keep on going
To try
It will all end up identical in the end
An immense fiery nothing

And so I hypothesize
That the world will end
Because the truth will
Get lost
In all those
Beautiful Lies
