Too many times
To say just one word
A word that means everything
And yet nothing at all.

A word so simple
Yet so complex.
A word so different,
Yet it's all I say.

It feels so dangerous
The sound feels so strange
A word that makes me worry
And forget everything inside.

A word
No one likes to hear
A word only following
Some horrible happening.

A word with
A cryptic meaning
Yet it sounds
So straight forward.

Like poison too the mind
But music to the ears
It's meaning is powerful
Positive and negative.

Masking tears
Creating fears
One small word
Can do all this.

After all is said
It all comes crahing down
Once again I say this word-

sorry.
