It was just a harmless party,
who'd have known it would be our last?
It started out fine,
we were having a blst.

Then he started drinking,
I didn't eben know.
He had 1 then 2 then 3 then 4,
soon there were a lot more.

When the party was over,
he foreced me in the car.
I screamed and I kicked,
not one person noticed.

He yelled at me more,
then I got in.
He said it'd be a little spin.
Who'd have known it would be our last?
He started out slow,
then he got fast.
He sped up quickly,
lights all around,
spinning to a blur.

I saw the truck come fron the
other lane and he was not slowing down.
That much I remembered..

..Until:
There were people all around
screaming and crying,
I heard someone say,
"She may be alright"
But who'd have know it'd be my last night?

***

I was lying in the hospital,
people all around.
The doctor came in and said,
"The other kid is dead,"
"..Now, her, she has no chance."

They tried and they tried
all I saw was a blur.
The people were crying,
as I was dying.

The doctor looked up and said to
the parents,
"It's over, she's not coming back..."

Who'd have known it'd be my last night?
Who'd have known I wasn't going to win the fight?
