One Day...

Right now you see no light,
Your tears they fall with fright,
But hang on--things'll get bright.
When you're older and better--you will look back,
And remember that light will always follow the black.

One day things'll change--you'll be okay,
Keep your chin up and wait for that day.
One day the sun won't pass you by,
And on that day, your tears will dry.

You've lost everything you love and need,
You're heart won't beat--only bleed.
But stay here and things will turn out,
You feel like no one hears you shout,
But they have--they have heard you scream,
No color in your face--you eye lost it's gleam.
Hang on kid cause one day you'll see,
The girl you were, who now is free.

One day things'll change--you'll be okay,
Keep your chin up and wait for that day.
One day the sun won't pass you by,
And on that day, your tears will dry.
