Little Susie and her brother
Are sitting in the yard
Playing in the sand box
Talking up a storm
Billy asked her sister
If she believed in death
Little Susie answered
'I don't like it, it makes me cry'
And started to burst into tears
Billy held her closely
And whispered
'Don't cry Susie, i'll always be here
To wipe away your tears'
The next couple of days
They flew by as in a dream
Little Susie and Billy
Were quite the trouble team
They would run around screaming
Hours after dark
Refusing to lie down
Finally their mother got little Susie to bed
She then left completely ignoring Billy
So Billy did lie down
Next to Susie on that afternoon
Falling asleep, to wake up in the morning
Little Susie was walking through the house
Susie yelling aloud so Billy can hear
As she walked through the kitchen
Susie's mom asked who she was talking to
Since Billy was in another room
Little Susie answered
With much delight
'Oh mommy, its okay, im talking to Billy'
Her mother gasped
As Little Susie walked away
She turned to her friend and with a pale face she said
'The shock hasnt gotten to her yet
She still doesnt know
That Billy is dead'

Author's Note: I still need to work on the flow...because its off a
bit...but other then that...i hope you enjoy and ive come to a realization
that this poem can be thought of in two directions..PM me with your thoughts
