Hawaiian Paradise

Around blows the soft Hawaiian breeze,
Swaying the tall, elaborate palm trees.
The angry ocean waves come crashing down,
The salty, stinging scent hovers all around.
The big, bright sun is out, warming the land,
With shells and coral washed up on the soft sand.
Volcano’s are in the background, around the rising mist,
You can hardly believe this paradise could exist.
Whales appear in the distance, in the vast ocean,
A Monk seal is on shore, causing a commotion.
Beautiful, mystical flowers are all about,
Starting to mist, a rainbow comes out.
Marvels colors stretch across the sky,
Leaving a light mist the rain clouds pass by.
Sea turtles are by the rocks getting a bite to eat,
And out a little farther, dolphins leaping quite a feat.
The dancers with longs grass skirts do the hula all day long,
Waiting for the sunset they sing their Hawaiian song.
The sun is setting and the beautiful colors appear,
All colors come, and into each other they smear.
The shades of pink, orange, purple, and blue,
Each day the sunset reveals something new.
Eating coconuts and pineapple, watching the day end,
Now all of the many different colors are starting to blend.
The days over, so all the wild animals are now going to sleep,
Turtles are settling, seal is gone, and the dolphins no longer leap.
The sun has set and the shinning moon is out for the night,
Animals sleep under the moon to give them a little light.
This all is Hawaiian paradise at its very best,
Now all the little creatures are at rest.
Paradise awaits for them at sun rise,
They await their Hawaiian surprise.
What will tomorrow hold?
Pure Hawaiian gold.
