Going downtown
to the spooktown.
where all people wear hats or crowns.
where people wear sunglasses.
and the smell of downtown georgia.
with a heated sky of mollasses.
downtown georgia.
with pink and blue utopia.
where the stars shine.
and people go to bed at nine'.
downtown where people play instruments.
and people have pet elephants.
downtown where people are eaten by blue ants.
something tells me that something up in the sky.
is lookin' at me right in the eye.
where people die, and people cry.
but please... Don't ask why.
We're going downtown.
where people don't frown.
yeah baby! downtown.
