I turn around and see it there
Beautiful, bold, and bright
It's the prettiest thing I've ever seen
As I stand here alone tonight
Up on this hill I can see the world
City lights and all
I see the sun and all the clouds
Slowly, gradually fall
The colors rise up and fill the sky
I stare above and afar
As always, I'll be waiting
To wish on the very first star
The stars come out and I make my wish
Diamonds and a velvet blue
They glitter so high, so bright, so strong
Tonight's wish was all about you
Just to see the twighlight's glow
I'll let the time pass me by
I'll stay out here for hours on end
There's nothing between me and the sky
