Deadly Friends

My friends have abandoned me
They do stuff to ruin me
I can't really call them friends
They are only loose ends
I try my best to ignore them
Everyone else adores them
They try to fake it
They can only break it
I try to abide by their rules
But they are fools
Their real intentions are for me to get hurt
But I can only blurt
I blurt the truth for all to see
But they see the "fake" me
They don't see my friends' dark sides
So I try to hide
To get on the wings of a bird
So that I can learn
Learn their ways
So that I can avoid their plays
