People are dancing on water
And doing handstands in the trees
They’re eating invisible snowballs
As they develop fears of knees

People are striving to be triangles
(So don’t discriminate, please)
They’re running away from the bells
And poisoning their mac and cheese

People are picking fights with gerbils
And coloring silver leaves
They’re yelling to everyone “Be the Wall!”
“Latin is valuable!” and “Idiots Breed!”

People are singing for no reason
And comparing themselves to turkeys
And it’s just a usual Wednesday
Here with my friends and me
