I relinquish this love
This feeling of knowing
That I will never be the same
The pain lingers
Sharpened when heard a certain name
What is there that I am to do
Who is it to blame
These shadows of the past follows
Decisions regretted
Leave me hallow
Still you follow
Still haunt my every thought
You wait for every flaw to be revealed
But there are so many
You’re waiting for me to fail
You throw your lies and hate at me like daggers
Waiting for me to fall from my pain
I watch as you attempt to put me in my old situation
Laughing at you
Making up lies about how you feel
But I know the truth
And so do you
