broken wings

i bleed royal violet
as my wing turns from blue to rich red
i breathe in so sharp
that i think i shall run through rainfilled clouds
a sweet song sings to me
a flute and a harp
i wish to glide through feilds of purple flowers
to be free from pain and suffering
bitterness and craziness
coldness and hardness
kiss and lull me to sleep
aid my broken wing
let me hear you sing
my skin turns to silver
for me do deliver
you have broken my wing
but i still love you
i will never be able to fly again
not the way id like to think
your eyes they sparkle like the bronze band around your neck
the sun looks like it has slit his wrists and the blood spreads over the
water, the ocean
the moon sits and stares
she has driven him to it
i have driven you to this
i will fly again
and look over you
for years to come
soon you will see
you will have a broken wing.
