Look in the past,
and you will see,
what good times we had,
just you and me.
We'd talk, we'd laugh,
we'd even cry.
But now its over,
those days gone by.
You went your way,
and I went mine.
And now I miss you,
all the time.
The friendship we had.
The love we shared.
Even though you're away,
I know you still care.
But I'll see you again,
and when I do,
I'll show how much,
I still care for you.
But until then,
I'll just give a sigh,
and think of our good times,
those days gone by.
