She drove slowly, not caring if she would be late. She finaly arived and
walked in the doors and as she saw everyone she found herself fighting back
tears. She longed to know them, to be one of them. He sat there quietly
watching her silently calling her name, he could see past her armor and into
her soul, he saw the pain, the confusion, the longing, and his spirit cried
for hers. She walked toward the seats finding one in the back corner as she
took a seat he came and sat beside her but she didn't notice. When the time
came around they all went to their seats, none of them sitting by her. She
watched them all walk by and her heart began to ache more, the spirits that
had followed her there kept telling her no one loved her, she was useless,
she would never be as good as them, as she listened to them her spirit began
to crumble. He quickly fought away the spirits and held her in his arms but
as much as he wanted her to, she didn't notice. The music began and everyone
started singing, she sang quietly hoping they wouldn't hear her, at fear
that they would see all her weaknesses. He sat there soaking it all in, he
loved the music and the praise, but he still had his attention on her. He
got up and spoke to a small few he whispered to the others but despite his
years of attempts they still wouldn't listen to him. He kept glancing back
at her making sure she had enough strength to get through each moment. She
started to sing louder as she got into the music, he knew it was coming, he
had been waiting so long for this moment. her mind started racing and it all
came back to her, the pain, the longing, the confusion, and finally in a
burst of tears she broke down.he watched her and tears began flowing down
his face. He was patiently waiting for her. She couldn't take it anymore she
knew what she had to do, it was the only way. Then she did it she cried for
him, calling him to come to her, and then in quicker than the blink of an
eye he had swooped her up and was holding her in his comforting arms. Then
at last she cried to God, giving herself and everything thing she was to
him. He quickly took away all of her pain, mending, renewing her once broken
spirit, and for the first time she felt him, she felt his undescribable
peace and together they danced and cried tears of joy as she sang " dance
with me oh lover of my soul, romance me oh lover of my soul, to the song of
all songs"
