its over these years that we have spent together,
watching the seasons and the changing weather,
its through hard times, and plently of tears,
a road that we walked, alive with our fears,
its been troubles, hurt, rain and pain,
but when we fell, we got up again,
even when it felt like our hearts would break,
and the feeling got so hard for us to take,
sure there have been bad times, but plenty more good,
we have always been there, like all good friends should,
its through sunshine that we found our smile,
and through our endless laughing that made it worth while,
its been smiles, laughs, jokes and much more,
you made me realise, what people make friends for,
to make them happy, when they feel sad,
to exept their apologies, when they say something bad,
to always stay with them, be loyal and true,
i guess thats how i found, my best friend in you
