Fragile Queen

Frills and fluff, cover your scars. Too perfect to let them know, let them
care. Starving bones, worn down smiles. Paint on your smile, you’re their
puppet now. Waterproof mascara, hides all the indication. Bright pink
cheeks take away from swollen eyes. Perfumes hide the scent of fear, while
"flawlessness" takes its toll. Curling irons burn, hair spray
fills your lungs, this is all you could ever hope for. What if they knew,
their queen was a fraud? What would they do to find out? You are an
actress, a liar, a con artist, a child. You are their perfect, their
everything, their fragile queen.

Don’t break their hearts, just quietly fall apart.
