A good friend
What does that mean?
Who is that?

Someone whos always there
someone who wont betray you
someone who would do anything
to avoid hurting you

What if a good friend isnt there
that person does betray you
that person ends up hurting you

Can you still forgive them?
Can you still stay friends?
Can you still trust them?
Can you stay with them til the end?

What if they take something you love
though they know it hurts you
Why would they do that?
How can they just lie to you?

A good friend
What do they do?
Where are they?

I know I can forgive them
I can move on
I can love them forever

but for now the trust is gone
for now my heart is broken
for now its hard to see you
for now its hard to smile

we are still good friend well still be together in the end
but for now I am broken
I have to close my eyes to see you
To deal with this pain

Will you wait until Im ready?
Do you still care I hurt?
Do you see how you betrayed me?
Can you give me time to heal?

Are you still there?
Who are you?

Someone that I love
who needs to earn my trust
learns how not to lie
gives me time to breathe

I forgive you, I love you
I'm not mad or angry
Disappointed, feel betrayed
but I need you to be happy
So I'll deal with this pain
